Our Newest Great-Granddaughter

Gramps and I spent a fun hour getting acquainted with Sadie, our newest little great-granddaughter. She reminds us of Ellis, who is one busy little girl. She doesn't have time to waste, but wants to show you everything around, and wants you to do it with her. Now our youngest grandson, Jake, came for breakfast at 8:30, only he arrived at 7:50 and caught me still in my PJ's and Gramps in bed. But it reminded me of when Joe (as a little boy) used to walk over and peek in the windows to see if we were awake and if we were we'd unlock the door and invite him to breakfast. Jake is helping Gramps put down the corner concrete blocks upon the concrete foundation, in preparation of building a porch at the Lilac Cottage. Notice the bandage on Gramps hand. Millie was so excited to see him that she dug her claws in. Old skin is thin skin. Maybe with Jake's help I can learn to do my own blogs, but he's trying to show me how now. The problem is he goes faster than I can watch. Be patient with us.
